Step 4: Mounting holes are added when selected
Customers can choose Pre-Drilled Mounting Holes on our product pages.
When that option is selected, the number and placement of the holes are determined by the size and design of the finished piece.
A smaller sign may need fewer mounting points, while a larger piece may require additional holes.
This is why we do not ask customers to choose between two, three, or four holes themselves.
The goal is to keep the ordering process simple while using mounting points that make sense for the product.
Step 5: The piece is prepared for finishing
After cutting, the metal is prepared for its final finish.
Edges, surfaces, and the overall piece are checked before coating so the final product has a clean appearance.
This preparation matters because powder coating follows the shape of the steel underneath it. A good finished surface starts with properly prepared metal.
Step 6: The sign receives its powder-coated finish
The prepared steel is finished with a matte powder coat.
Instead of conventional liquid paint, powder coating uses a dry finishing material that is applied to the metal and cured with heat.
